The ability to have a face-to-face meeting with multiple users, share files, engage with clients, all while reducing wasted travel time and cost make it a pivotal element to embrace for the future.

Exercise and the connection to nature have also become a huge part of the daily routine. This will reinforce the importance of Biophilic Design within the workplace, providing us with a visual connection to nature that engages our emotional response to the natural world.

Employees could be seeking an increased area for focused working and quiet zones to reflect the home conditions that have become accustomed to.

It will be key to find a balance between workers seeking to extend the flexibility and freedom of working from home while promoting social interaction and collaboration to reduce isolation and insular working.
